VINAŘSTVÍ POD RADOBÝLEM

Our winery Vinařství pod Radobýlem was founded in 2012 in a very historic wine region in the heart of Europe. The idea was to find the best location in the Czech republic that is suitable for growing premium grapes. Fortunately we got lucky and found a beautiful volcanic hill that was given to the locals by the king Charles IV in 1359 with the obligation to plant vineyards. This unique hill is called Radobýl and it became a home of our modern winery that had planted 14 hectares of new vineyards. Although our wine making technology is very modern and up to date, at the vineyard everything has to be done by hand. With this combination of modern winemaking and the best terroir of the Czech Republic we are aiming at making the best quality Czech wines. Most of our wines have no residual sugar. The purest expression of each grape variety combined with a fine minerality gives the Radobýl wines a unique taste.

GABRIELA 2021

Extra Brut Dosage Zero

Sparkling rosé wine from 100% Pinot Noir using the traditional champenoise method. 30 month stay with the lees results is a well-structured fine sparkling wine with soft and elegant bubbles.

TRAMIN 2022

dry white wine

Spicy and mineral light wine with bouquet that is not overpowering and therefore this Tramin can be nicely combined with food, especially Asian. This wine was produced in stainless steel tank.

RHEIN RIESLING 2023

dry white wine

A classic clean Riesling with a nice crisp finish due to the natural acidity. At this stage hints of petrol make this wine exceptionally noble. Beautiful linden note and minerality. This wine was produced in stainless steel tank. Good ageing potential.

FRATAVA ROSÉ 2024

dry rosé wine

This fruity fresh rosé wine made from a very rare original Czech grape variety called Fratava. Intense rosé with a bold expression and beautifully high in color. This wine was produced in stainless steel tank.

FRATAVA 2022

dry red wine

A fruit driven red wine with a nice firm structure. Fratava is a very rare original Czech grape variety. High in color, intense fruit taste with a long lasting finish. This wine was aged for 18 months in big untoasted barrels made out of French and Slavonian oak. The micro oxidation gives our wine nice structure and the oak does not overpower the fruitiness of this wine. Good ageing potential.

PINOT NOIR 2021

dry red wine

A classic varienty that our region excels at. A typical soft sour cherry flavor where each sip opens a new taste dimension. This wine was aged for 30 months in big untoasted barrels made out of French and Slavonian oak. The micro oxidation gives our wine nice structure and the oak does not overpower the fruitiness of this wine. Good ageing potential.
